Welcome to the digital hub of the US Nepal Climbers Association. Established in 2014, our non-profit organization is dedicated to fostering the growth and preservation of mountaineering and climbing worldwide. We are committed to advancing safe and ethical practices in the mountains, while also promoting responsible access, cultural appreciation, and environmental stewardship.

Recognized by the Department of the Treasury, we serve as a leading association representing mountaineering and sport climbing communities. Our mission encompasses a diverse range of purposes related to mountaineering, climbing, and outdoor pursuits.

A highlight of our calendar is Everest Day, celebrated annually on May 29th. This special occasion commemorates the historic first summit of Mount Everest by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary. Through our various initiatives and events, we strive to honor their achievement and inspire future generations of climbers.

Musical Night: Celebration of Mount Everest Day in Queens, New York

In a dynamic celebration of cultural diversity and artistic talent, the US Nepal Climbers Association hosted a Musical Night on June 1, 2024, in Queens, New York. The event served as a commemoration of Mount Everest Day and a joyous celebration of the association’s 10th anniversary. The event, held at the United Sherpa Association brought together a diverse audience to honor the Sherpa community’s rich heritage and pay homage to the world’s tallest peak. USNCA marks International Everest Day in New York

The US Nepal Climber Association Inc. has marked the 71st International Sagarmatha (Mt Everest) Day remembering the first successful summit of Mt Everest by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary in 1953. Sajan, Srijana win Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Open Climbing Competition

KATHMANDU: Sajan Lama and Srijana Tamang have won the first Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Open Climbing Competition held at Crimpanzee Adventure Hub, Bouddha. According to Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa, General Secretary at Nepal National Mountain Guides Association, Sajan stood victorious in male category while Srijana won the title in female category.
