On the Occassion of Everest Day, US Nepal Climbers Association is partnering with Brooklyn Boulders to organize an Open Bouldering Competition at Queensbridge location. Come join us for our second annual Everest Day Climbing Competition. We host this friendly competition to remember and celebrate May 29th - the first summit of Mt. Everest by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.
This year climbing competition will be open bouldering for adults (15 years of age and older) and a top rope sport competition for youths (14 years and younger).
Following is a schedule of activities for the day.
|12:00PM||Check in begins|
|1:30PM||Review of Rules and traditional Nepali dance|
|1:45PM - 2:00PM||Walk through of space|
|2:00PM - 3:30PM||Competition for adults and youths|
|3:30PM - 5:30PM||Final judging, refreshments and awards|
Competition will start at 2:00PM sharp. Please arrive no later than 1pm to allow time to check in and warm up. Check-in will close at 1:30PM sharp.

- Please remember to bring your climbing shoes and harness, if needed equipment can be rented.
- Waiver forms for both USNCA and Brooklyn Boulders must be signed before competing.
- Youth with exceptional skill may be permitted to compete in the adult competition.
